TimelyCare recognizes the mental and emotional health crisis on college campuses: too many college students are experiencing mental and emotional distress.
Providing telehealth services that increase access and are effective in helping students manage distress can prevent mental illness through early intervention to enhance emotional and mental well-being. This is critical at this time given the mental and emotional distress epidemic coupled with the shortage of mental health providers. The strategic intent of TimelyCare’s virtual care offering is to move upstream, focus on team-based primary and secondary prevention to help students achieve optimal emotional, mental, physical, and cognitive performance.
In this case study, learn about the statistical evidence that the support and care provided during TimelyCare’s telehealth visits reduces students’ levels of distress.
