As Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at TimelyCare, Jay leads the State Higher Education System strategy within the Growth Strategy & Partnerships team. Jay works at the system and state levels to accelerate large-scale initiatives that expand equitable access to mental health and well-being services for students.
One of TimelyCare’s original team members, Jay plays a key role in:
- Driving state-level and institutional partnerships to advance equitable access to care.
- Designing and implementing on-demand virtual care services supported by customized, population-based aggregate cost models.
- Collaborating with state legislators and higher education systems to create scalable, sustainable models for student health.
- Partnering with national organizations such as The Jed Foundation, Active Minds, and key EdTech providers, including LMS and EHR integration partners.
- Advocating for student well-being at state capitols across the country.
Jay’s portfolio of system and cooperative partners includes E&I Cooperative, Instructure Canvas, California Community College System, The University of Texas System, California State University System, Indiana University System, Connecticut State Colleges and Universities, Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Illinois Public Higher Ed Cooperative, and Virginia Higher Education Procurement Consortium.
Guided by a commitment to equity, Jay focuses on addressing care gaps for students and building sustainable funding strategies through strategic legislative and institutional collaboration. His insight and advocacy have helped state and institutional leaders secure resources and influence budget allocations to support student mental health and wellness at scale.
