Nassim Bickham is TimelyCare’s VP of Care Transformation. In her role, she leads the development and implementation of innovative and evidence-based mental health virtual care solutions. Her healthcare career journey began as a Division I gymnast at the University of California, Berkeley, where she suffered a serious injury that left her bedridden during the first semester of her first year of college. Her experience inspired her journey to help others with their mental health, which led her to TimelyCare. Nassim has an extensive clinical career background, having worked at Two Chairs, Lyra Health, the YMCA of San Francisco, and The Maple Counseling Center in California.
“My experiences in college led me down a path of becoming a clinician and supporting those in need. But when I heard about TimelyCare and its mission to foster student success and improve the health and well-being of campus communities, it was a no-brainer!”Kris Cloutier, Information Technology Manager at TimelyCare, started his career in technology by learning how to code, and he quickly fell in love with taking an idea and creating a working application. His passion for helping people combined with his technical and critical thinking skills set him on a path to where is today. In his role, Kris ensures technology is operational and effective, provides robust systems security, and offers outstanding service when issues arise.
“My experience at TimelyCare has changed my life. I was stuck in the mindset of believing that healthcare jobs aren’t enjoyable because the system is broken. TimelyCare showed me that healthcare can still be fun, exciting, and innovative.”Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Sam Magida, sought out TimelyCare because of how its mission reflected the purpose he values in his career. He wanted to be in the business of helping students stay healthy while setting them up for success. Prior to joining TimelyCare, Sam’s experience included an organization that helped professional medical associations improve career opportunities for its members. This led him toward an interest in the issues healthcare workers were addressing at public institutions.
“In directly addressing physical and emotional health, TimelyCare helps students acquire skills and develop healthy habits that everyone needs to lead a healthy life and thrive in the workforce and/or community. It's a pretty great, important, and exciting purpose to work towards each day!”Prior to joining TimelyCare full-time as a Provider Engagement Specialist, Chandana Chitralekha was one of our care interns. In her role, she serves as a main point of contact for our counselors and focuses on coaching systems optimization. Prior to joining the TimelyCare team, Chandana worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin Benner Laboratory.
“Our team has supported me in building on existing skills and developing various new skills. I am honored to innovate with each of our amazing team members and help make a positive impact on our patients, providers, and schools.”Annette Popernik is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. Annette joined TimelyCare to help make mental health care more accessible for college students and to be able to reach underserved students and communities. She has a passion for working with patients with chronic health conditions and those with different abilities, and at TimelyCare, she’s able to do just that.
“As a Mexican-American therapist, it's important for me to connect with students from diverse races and ethnicities as well as use my languages of English, Spanish, and Italian.”Employee Spotlight
