Smith started her career at IBM, and her impressive marketing background includes leading brands toward stronger market positions and more meaningful connections with their audiences.

Her expertise combines visionary leadership with strong operational skills. She has successfully managed multidisciplinary marketing teams spanning North America, Latin America, and India. Through strategic guidance, she has turned marketing functions into significant revenue drivers.

Beyond marketing leadership, Smith has also served as president of the human resources technology company PrismHR. She earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marquette University.

Smith also serves as a trustee at Elmhurst University, reinforcing her dedication to leadership and mentorship in both business and education.
