What Students Say About Our Providers

Student
Western Colorado University
Western Colorado University
“Being able to connect to someone who demographically can meet my needs is really great and really helpful. With TimelyCare, you’re prompted to say, this is my ethnicity, this is my race, this is how I identify. If I could have someone who can meet those needs, that is preferred. And I love that.”
Student
Virginia Commonwealth University
Virginia Commonwealth University
“The counselors that I spoke to were very kind and personable. I was seeking direction for next steps and having an emotional moment. They gave me practical framework and coping mechanisms and gave me next steps for setting my appointments/getting additional help.”
Student

“I had an amazing visit with my provider. She was more helpful than anybody from whom I had sought help before, and I genuinely feel like I’m better situated to choose positive decisions and paths after speaking with her. I cannot imagine a more productive conversation than the one I had with her. I am so appreciative of her help.”

“I enjoyed the variety of people who related to my background, whether in race, sex, or with similar experiences. They all gave me great advice.”

Katherine Street

“I know how important is to have support … the accessibility, being able to do therapy anywhere and to have TalkNow (emotional and mental support) anywhere, 24/7, I just really believed in how important that accessibility is for all students.”

“TimelyCare goes beyond medical care. We don’t want to only help their physical ailment. We strive to help them succeed in school by improving their mental health, physical health, and overall ability to care for themselves when at school. And instead of them sitting in a clinic for hours, I am able to talk to them between classes or after school.”
Cecilia Wild

“TimelyCare encourages its providers to provide patients with education. And often that’s the main thing that the college student population needs as they are navigating the healthcare system for the first time, even if it’s as simple as what over-the-counter medications to take or where to go next for evaluation of a more complicated condition.”

“I love this job. And I love interacting with students and being able to provide them with help in all aspects of their life that impacts them. I’m very proud to be a TimelyCare provider.”
