Give Your Students Psychiatric Care in Just Days
Students who need medication management can see a psychiatrist in as little as two days and stay focused on graduation and achieving their goals, not a months-long wait list.
Can Your Students Access Psychiatry Resources?
Untreated mental health conditions derail academics.
- Two-thirds of mental health workforce shortage areas are in rural or partially rural parts of the U.S.¹
- Wait times for an in-person psychiatry appointment are over 2 months and over 1 month for a telepsychiatry visit.²
- Only 10.4% of psychiatrists are Black, Hispanic, or Native American.³

How Psychiatry Makes a Difference
How Does Virtual Psychiatry Help Students?
When students go without the psychiatric help they need, grades slip and some may leave school. With an option for virtual psychiatric care, you give those students fast, no-cost access to licensed physicians.
Scheduling and follow-up happens in the app, so support is easy to integrate with your resources. Students and families gain peace of mind, and your campus keeps more students on the path to graduation.
Based on TimelyCare’s Measurement-Based Care data, students who entered care with severe symptoms achieved, on average, clinically significant change by their third psychiatry visit.

How Does Virtual Psychiatry Work?
Request Referral
The student initiates a request from the campus counseling center or a TimelyCare provider for referral to access Psychiatry.
Meet the Psychiatrist
In the first 60-minute visit, the provider assesses and determines needs. Over 95% of psychiatry visits are conducted by physicians (MDs/DOs)
Agree on a Plan
After the initial consultation, the provider sends a care plan that may include medication management for non-controlled prescriptions, which is sent to a pharmacy selected by the student.
Follow Up
30-minute follow-up appointments are set to monitor progress and adjust medication as needed.
